从岳麓山到鼎湖山

我们依然在山下

从桃子湖到七星湖

我们依然在湖畔

不一样的山路不一样的风景

一样的情怀一样的登攀

不一样的湖光不一样的波澜

一样的风帆一样的争流

拍岸的西江哟

穿空着湘江的号子

梦里的湘江哟

回荡着西江的潮声

曾经是芬芳的桃李

辉映着漫山的枫火

如今芬芳着桃李

孕育着岭南的硕果

土地干涸 我们挥汗成雨

浮云蔽日 我们燃烧自己

在三尺讲坛 绘浩瀚星空

于简易陋室 画山高水长

老凤苍亮雅凤清脆

向着芙蓉万里

齐声唤

From Yuelu Mountain to Dinghu Mountain,

We are still at the foot of a mountain.

From Peach Lake to Seven Star Lake,

We are still by a lake.

Different mountain paths, different sights!

With same feelings we climb as before to heights.

Different lake sights, many a wave! 

With same sails, we go all up as before brave.

The Xijiang River beats the shore

Recording the Xiangjiang River horn.

The Xiangjiang in our dreams 

Echo the Xijiang and its streams.

Once we were fragrant peaches and plums

Reflected in the maples like flames all over the hills;

Now we cultivate more fragrant peaches and plums, 

The rich fruits in Lingnan, over plains, hills and rills.

On the dried-up land, we work, sweating in sunlight,

When clouds cover the sun, we consume ourselves to light.

On three feet pulpits, we draw the expansive starry sky;

In simple studios, we paint rivers long and mountains high.

The old phoenix in songs strong, the young with smiles,

To our Alma Mater, away off miles and miles,

Hail in one voice:
